Rwanda Association of Midwives partners with stakeholders committed to improving maternal and newborn health services in Rwanda.
RAM is led by a team of volunteer midwives, who also have full-time employment in clinical practice, leadership, education, and policy. To support the Rwanda Ministry of Health and the Rwanda Biomedical Center to implement the HSSP4, the midwives of RAM provide their expertise to specific project activities which are funded by various organizations.
Project funding is essential to keep enabling the Association to provide services to midwives in Rwanda. Please look at the interesting projects in the Projects tab to see some of RAM’s excellent work supporting the improvement of maternal and newborn health services through strengthening the midwifery profession.
